Young Medicine put on an amazing show at iHuman Youth Society. They adapted quickly to our set-up, took charge, and delivered an entertaining and informative show of music, dance, and culture.
This is the 3rd or 4th year that we have had the award winning group, Young Medicine, has come to our elementary school to help us celebrate Indiginous culture. Each year they get better and better. This year was no exception. The quality of perfomance was fantastic. Children and adults alike loved the interactive performance. We so appreciated the way that Young Medicine was willing to adapt their performance to suit our needs, were prepared to start early and the professionalism of their presentation. Thanks so much for another great visit to our school!
Young Medicine performed for our school on June 21st. They were are a pleasure to work with and their performance was thoroughly enjoyed by all students from kindergarten through to grade nine. Thank you, Curt and Jamie. We hope to have you back again next year.
Young Medicine was an awesome addition to our Aboriginal Awareness Festival. Their performance of prayers, songs and dances were interactive and inspiring. The spirit of all of our junior High students and staff was definitely lifted by the joyful presentation of the performers. Students really enjoyed seeing staff participate in the Round Dance. Young Medicine you have made a difference!
The Young Medicine came to our school on Friday June 10th. Everyone from the kindergarten students to the staff, was engaged. We all sang along, danced, clapped. They were excellent. Excellent and powerful also were their message to the students about changing their weaknesses into strenght, into something they love. Thank you for everything! I will be happy to have you at our school every year. Regards.
I thoroughly enjoyed the performance by Young Medicine at our school, as did my students. I was particularly pleased when a couple of them volunteered to join in on the last number - especially one young girl who is quite shy. It was nice to see her take a bit of a leap of faith. Well done Jamie and Curt!!
We had Young Medicine at our school on Friday and they were excellent! The students and staff were engaged, dancing, singing and having a wonderful time! Thank you so much for presenting to us!
